VRFocus - Back at E3 2014 virtual reality (VR) fans were treated to a surprise when The Creative Assmebly revealed a new prototype demo for its upcoming sci-fi horror title, Alien: Isolation, using the Oculus Rift head-mounted display. At the time it was left up in the air as to if the full release would actually support VR down the line. We're still waiting on such confirmation, but the VR demo for the title has at least made its public debut at the EGX London event at in Earls Court this weekend.
If you've got an Alien itch you can't quite scratch until Alien: Rolumus releases, GameSpew has rounded up the best Alien games to tide you over.
Fans (myself included) are clamouring for a direct sequel to this fantastic game and hope for an Alien: Isolation 2. But will this great game ever get another instalment?
Also included are Alien: Isolation, Dead Island Definitive Edition, Outlast 2, and more.
Good month imo. I'll play Gotham Knights and House of Ashes. I'm finishing up Disco E on Steam right now - that's a superb game.
Didn't get to play this yesterday but saw others.
It was kind of surreal seeing people sitting in a line with headsets on, was like something from a Sci fi movie!
I didn't get to try this, the queue for the Oculus booth was insane. I did get the try EvE:Valkyrie though. That was amazing, although it left me feeling a bit woozy.
I don't know if my heart could take it. Haha, but seriously this game in VR must be pretty damn intense.
