On what merits? It was s great game for sure and I do love it and it should be recognized as such. But.... it didn’t break any records, it didn’t create the hype of some other games (Zelda, PUBG, Mario Oddyssey etc), it didn’t really innovate on open world rpgs nor did it sell the most (PUBG). It reviewed well but good review scores aren’t rare for 2017. Zelda, Mario, F7, cuphead, Nioh etc all reviewed well too. It was just a great game.
Props for sure. HZD was an unexpected pleasure for me.

I haven’t played it yet but I am certainly looking forward to picking it up on the oneX when released. The hype is real and a lot of my pc gaming co-workers are completely hooked on it. They talk about it with football game fan enthusiasm so it probably doesn’t suck.
Looks like the fanboys are wrestless again with all those disagrees there. Xb1 is getting a little too many wins recently for their comfort and since this is hitting xb1 next month well.... can’t have that!.
In all seriousness, it’s one of the biggest games in the world right now and as a new IP it’s unmatched for the time released. That should absolutely be rewarded.
A point to remember here. The actual developers - men and women sitting on the box long hours actually building these games - are not the ones responsible for the policies and MT inclusion. They are just following orders made by business development and product design teams. Meaning: if your boss tells you to jump, you ask how high or start looking for a new job. People should really think about that while they are slinging death threats to actual developers with no thought. What a f***ed up ...
Completely satisfied with mine. I just now finally finished gears 4 last night. i launched it to check out the enhancements and ended updoing the last few chapters on the X out of sheer fascination right then and there. They just want Nintendo games on the go. Kids have always had a 3ds in hand just about everywhere they go. Th Switch is better than a 3ds so now they’re gonna pack that around instead. Was this just rolled out to everybody? I used this about a week ago for a friend going thru a hard time, but I’m also in the preview program so it’s hard to tell when stuff goes completely live. I kinda thought this was. Either way it’s a nice option to have and better than using codes.

Because gamers love manufacturing scandal and ar often too dumb or naive to understand the financials (if adjusted for inflation, game prices have maintained level pricing while game development costs have increased dramatically, hence MTs).
It’s funny to me that Sony bought all the marketing rights for this game considering all the loot box controversy over F7 and shadow of war which MS had marketing rights for and yet BFII looks and runs better on X at the end of it.
I’ve already played it on EA Access. Looks amazing on the X and is better than the last one (controversy aside). Kinda funny that all their marketing was spent on the PS4 and it runs better on X. Take that exclusive marketing deals.
pretty much the biggest point of it and you will absolutely be missing the full experience if your display doesn't support 4k HDR. they are far and away the biggest enhancements. HDR is almost more important in some regards as it makes the colors look more real.
the thing is though... if a big portion of your entertainment relies on electronics even beyond video games, you should buy a 4k tv anyway. 1080p is old at this point. 4k is not only the new buzzword, but...
