Well for gaming now that SP3 and Vista SP1 have been released and nVidia / AMD have gotten their drivers up to speed, the XP and Vista are just as fast.
Execept that Vista uses DX10 which will make games look much better.

I have a close family member in the Beta right now.
He's said its the only thing he's played that will make him close his WoW account. He says it is just stunning.

All kidding aside, EA does deliver some stinkers but they make so many games, that they cant have *all* hits.
There are a few games I'll be buying from EA this year.
The 1st one wasnt *that* short, if you played it on the easiest level, you could move through quickly.
But on medium or hard, it takes a lot of time to mow get the Locust down and they're more aggressive.
The campaign was long enough IMO, it was so damn good that I didnt care. I've played through it and its just as fun the 2nd (and third... and..) time.
They bring up a good point, imagine being held captive as a meat shield in online play.
That would be humiliating to get held-up at the same time it will be pretty useful.
I have a family member in the Beta for this title. He (and myself) are long time MMORPG players.
He said that it is, without a doubt, the first game he's see/played that will get him to stop playing WoW (we both left EQ for WoW).
He said the mood, graphics, fighting system and general gameplay is absolutely outstanding.
After promsing to swear off MMORPG grinding (such a time sink), I will be joining you on my Xbox 360 when this is released.

Same here, it looks better and better every time they release information.
There is much yet to be learned, like some details on multiplayer.
Oh, and I _LOVED_ the Launch-platform-ejects-flyer only to shoot that big mario.
Did you notice the big mario seemed to be constructed by different items stacked? like a big pile of "stuff".
