I have a family member in the Conan Beta right now -- he's a long time WoW and Everquest gamer -- and he's saying that Conan is terrific, it blows anything he's played out of the water.

The Dev kits for both consoles shipped at the same time. But Sony held back the PS3. The Xbox 360 wasnt "early" -- the PS3 was __LATE__. Very different.

The problem with those games is they sucked. Not that they were "short", get your stuff straight. Some of us have played those games an know better.

If your a seller of BluRay Players (sony) it might make sense, but for the market, I cant see them throwing away their hundreds of millions of DVD players just to send money to sony.
