I'm a xbox fan through and through but if they can get the last of us to run at 1080p one would assume they could get all of the halos to 1080p as well. But I'm not a programmer so who knows. Time will tell.

I don't think the install times are bad. What's bad is the 3 to 6 gigs updates before hand. #goodolddays
These x1 articles are redic. There are people out there that really makes up stories because they dislike a product. The best quote 'my friend has one' or ' I was at my friends house and it broke' come on people.
I don't think Microsoft will ever do that. Kinect is just as much part of xbox one as the controller is. It is what makes the xbox different and offers a unique experience not found on any other console.

Im not sure if this would be an issue but has anyone tried setting up a child account? You have to create an email account for your child. Not sure on how I feel about that. The xbox one has a neat feature where it recognizes your face and signs you in. I was trying to get this for everyone in the household. Has anyone else tried this. How does the ps4 and wiiu handle accounts for kids? Thanks!
Agreed. I was just talking about this with a buddy of mine. It drives me nuts they will release a game and as soon as you put it in it needs an update....I bought forza 5 and there was a 6 gig update which took forever. Now granted you can play the game after the install progresses to a certain point which is good, but it is definitely not like it was back in the day...lol
Depends on what part of the country you live in I would imagine as I've seen both consoles regularly in stock in Iowa.

After two years it has went the way of the RRoD. A CS rep told me if you do receive a refurbish unit its only the shell and that the insides been completely replaced with new components/ mother board-- any truth to that?
