all my friends that got ps3 at launch had to exchange them since they broke down after a few years including myself...

actually its a bad idea when you bridge the two systems for online playability together
This means that the NGP will be a system full of of ps3 ports and thus fail to establish its own identity as a system. Instead of making stand alone games, most developers would feel much easily inclined to port their games to the system and their will be nothing unique in the ngp other than it is a handheld almost as powerful as the ps3.

true at the end of the day though konami has just as much of a big say as kojima. Kojima may be the only person holding back konami for going multi platform with mgs if im not mistaken.
Anyways , its better for konami to go multi platform because they will sell and make more money and if they dont go over 5 discs with the 360 version lol.

you can't say the pc version destroys both since it is only an enhanced console port to tell you the truth. No doubt it looks the best, but if it destroyed them, one would assume it was absolutely optimized and designed for the pc ground up in every way which is not the case

im sorry but the 360 controllers do have official microsoft battieries and charge cables sold in the stores.

i think the dualshock can use some work and revision. I have both consoles and i favour the 360 control stick for shooters. But i favour the dualshock`s d pad for fighting games. The R2/L2 are not a welcome change this generation, i like the 360 triggers much better. The R1/L1 are alright and are on par with the 360 bumbpers. The positioning of the analogs on the ps3 controller is to my disfavour in my oppinion and preffer the control stick position on 360 much better.

umm its the truth. Its rare you find a working launch ps3 with backwards compatibility.
if you dont wanna believe don't, i took care of my ps3, like my baby, then i had to buy a new one for over 300$.
atleast with msoft, i went through 5 360s, but it never cost a dime.
dont take it seriously if you dont wanna but at the end of the day its still reality.
