I don't get this logic that PS4 is selling well so there's no need to drop the price. The PS2 had a commanding lead in EVERY region, not just Europe/Asia and it still had its price reduced.
PS2 slim had a manual disc cover as well. I actually prefer flip tops or sliding ones like on the PS3. It's convenient not having to turn on your system just to take a disc out and it means less potential for mechanical failure.
Just means price drop likely incoming. They're reducing manufacturing costs by putting more conventional buttons and the 10% less weight and less power consumption means they have reduced the innards as well.

Even if Confrontation came out as a great game from the get go, the SOCOM community is poison. They complain about everything and never can agree on anything. Have you ever been to the SOCOM forums? The reason Socom 4 came out as it did is because of fans complaining!!!

Nah it's true the fanboys here are moving goalposts continually because they can't accept that Sony had a better E3. They say MS has more coming this year but by year they mean last two months because they won't mention all the games from Jan-Sept which still puts Sony ahead seeing as Xbox was barren the whole year as far as AAA exclusives go. That's because we don't need a conf about games we already know about. Most of the titles this year were shown off before E3.
Shenmue is though or at least never coming to Xbox. FF7 is first on PS then PC, never on Xbox per SE's twitter.
^ Not really, it's all preference. MS's only popular game this holiday is Halo. TR isn't super popular and neither is Forza. Sony's exclusives aren't mega hits but that doesn't make them any worse.
Nah I don't think it's better. They have bigger hits but that doesn't make them better. Eagerly awaiting Persona 5 and Tales of Zestiria.

Shenmue 3 and FF7 Remake might be on PC but they won't be on Xbox so to console owners it makes a big difference.
It doesn't even have more AAA retail exclusives for the holidays though... Goal post moving will make it look like Sony's exclusives don't matter but they do and will be good. Plus throughout the whole year PS4 will have had far more exclusives than Xbox One which still hasn't had an AAA exclusive and won't for a few more months. That's a 7-8 month dry spell!!
Yeah FF7 isn't exclusive it will be on PC at a later date but it's console exclusive.
