This year is already off to a great start, and it sounds like that is going to continue this Tuesday when NioH releases! Really hoping Destiny 2 makes it out this year too!
I'm still wavering on the Switch as well. I've got one pre-ordered, but I'm not sure if it's going to be for me, regardless of how awesome Super Mario Odyssey looks. Will have to see how this next month plays out and what Nintendo shares in terms of new information, especially in regards to the Virtual Console.
This sounds really cool. With all of the games coming out in Q1 2017, this one has been slipping under the radar for me. Sounds like I need to make time to play it!

Space dogfighting via EVE: Valkyrie or the Criterion produced Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing experience are two of the things I'm most looking forward to trying out in VR. Great to hear from another person who had a great time with EVE: Valkyrie. I can't wait for October 13th!
I was not expecting to be as excited for Battlefield 1 as I am. I really thought the reveal trailer for the game was spectacular. I can't wait to hop into one of those biplanes!
With multiple major sources reporting that PS4K is real, it seems like it's only a matter of time before this thing is officially announced. E3 seems like a safe bet, and the more I think about, if handled correctly PS4K could be a very cool option for console gamers.

I was really surprised by how much there was to this game. There is a nice element of strategy, the boss battles are fun, and to those that explore the levels and try to rescue all of the space bunnies this can easily be an 8 hour experience. It's a really cool game. All it needs is online co-op!
This game is really cool. I love the weird mix of genres. Looking forward to playing more of it. The RPG elements are addicting!
This game is so much fun. I was up late last night playing it because I couldn't put it down! For anyone born in the 80s, just pulling out all of the references is a blast in and of itself.
I'm downloading this first thing when I get home to my PS4! Been looking forward to this for a long time!
I really can't wait to try out VR. The Oculus price is a bit much, so I may wait to see how much PlayStation VR is going to cost. Either way, I'll be playing and experiencing VR at some point this year and I'm stoked to finally experience it.
I'm really curious to see how The Legend of Zelda Wii U turns out. Looks incredible from the brief footage we've seen. Might this end up being an NX launch title as well, a la Twilight Princess on Wii and GameCube?
Super Meat Boy is such an excellent port on the Vita. It really took me by surprise this year how much I enjoyed that game on Sony's handheld. It's super addicting!
Good call on HellDivers! It's such a great co-op game. While it had a few technical issues at launch in terms of networking, those have been ironed out now and the game is a blast to play with friends. It's a difficult game, but even when he odds are stacked against you, it's still a ton of fun trying to avoid enemies and your own team's friendly fire!
Can't wait to try this one out! Sounds like it could be a pretty unique VR experience.
