@ megaworm25: I can understand the disappointment (I was disappointed the initial build was ditched too), but Kojima already said the fans of traditional stealth will have to 'be patient'. In the mean time, we can play Rising. Or skip it and wait for the next real MGS title.
Although it isn't a traditional Metal Gear game, it still looks interesting to me in its own right.
Yep, they do look great, a lot of attention to detail. The eyes also look very realistic.
Yep, and next week is sooner than I expected!
He retired in 2010.
Sounds a little too good to be true... but I hope it is!
I assume so, it's a separate product.
That's not even what they were talking about. And from what I've heard the 3D in MGS3 is pretty good.
Yeah, and I'd also like to know more about the story.
I was actually hoping for a special MGS themed Vita to be released alongside the HD Collection, so more than just a skin. But I guess it won't happen.
Yeah... I must say I don't mind him taking his time to deliver such quality.
He has been working on the Fox Engine, which has been an investment time wise, but the idea is that creating games is easier and quicker now. He's also working on Project Ogre, which will probably be released for current gen consoles.
What does that have to do with this? Kojima often posts updates of what he is doing on his Twitter, this is just that.
I guess it's because it sells better.
Me too. But I already played it a lot, so it's okay.
So do I
That's from the VGA trailer.
When did Kojima say he didn't see himself working on a traditional Metal Gear game again, and that Rising is the future? He already said that fans who want a traditional Metal Gear game 'have to be patient', which sounds like it's on the way.
Yeah, he shouldn't do it unless he wants to.
Yes, it was announced at E3 2009 but it skipped one E3 I believe.
