Couldn't agree more! Glad they're still around! :-)
Guess you also missed the part where I said that Kojima is talented and that I wish him the best with Death Stranding, huh? Just because someone may be narcissistic doesn't mean we should string em up, but could explain why they do certain things.
If I were Konami, I would've cancelled Silent Hills too. It promised to be even more expensive than Metal Gear Solid V.
I still think that they can come back stronger than every, and "they" means Kojima, Konami, and even the salty af GDT. I wish them all the best.
Idk, man. Seems like a waste of energy to me.
Nah, but thanks for playing! :-)
I disagree. People tend to not want to fuck clowns! ;-)
Holding onto hatred is no way to go through life, plain and simple. Seems like a combination of a waste of energy and pissing all over the video game industry. Completely counterproductive.
Dude...I was hoping for something a little more original, but eh. *shrug
The nature of the business is extreme, no doubt about that. I always see developers akin to postal workers right before the holidays, and I honestly don't know how it can be fixed aside from running skeleton crews or the like. And even though both EA and Konami are guilty of employing these extreme practices, I hope everyone walks away wiser but still in business and able to continue creating video games for all of us.
I remember Konami releasing banger after banger during their heydays, and can actually tell the time when their entire approach changed. When I started suspecting that Kojima was using his position to funnel money into his own projects, it started to make a little more sense. In the end, I'm glad everyone walked away and can now focus on delivering us the games! :-)
Color me intrigued!
I like deals as much as the next guy (clown?), but not enough to cram into a steel box with a bunch of rabid strangers. I'll stay in and enjoy Cyber Monday instead, me thinks!
I'm so glad that platforms like Kickstarter give smaller studios the chance to create games that people actually would want to play that isn't a regurgitation of the same old shit! Not sure I could get into Farmlands myself, but if it weren't for Kickstarter, we wouldn't HAVE games like Shovel Knight or Shadowrun Returns! Indies RULE! #Salute :-)
#mindblown...the only thing I could think of is that Death seems to hold whoever has the Crimson and Ebony Stones in high regards, calling them a "king" in Lament of Innocence.
Perhaps he handles it like a business transaction, knowing that Dracula is only interested in the blood of his victims, leaving behind the soul for the taking? Who knows?! :-)
Me too! I've worked with these guys before, and I'm FLOORED when I see how far Dimension Drive has come! 8-)
Yup! Def made my day! :-)
Sweet! Everybody should have access to this game! Tell you the truth, this was the last GTA I played, and not because I necessarily think the others are "shit", but because I can relate to these characters more than some random character.
I grew up in a neighborhood similar to The Grove, and oddly enough, a lot of Carl's interactions were pretty close to what I experienced in my own little section of the world! Enjoy, fellow EU gamers! :-)
Agreed! His art and execution absolutely BLOW ME AWAY! And the best part is that he obviously loves what he does, which makes all the difference in the end! :-)
I feel your pain! I have so many promising titles on my Steam wishlist that I'd love to get, but some of them have been in beta limbo for well over a year and I can't see myself taking the plunge.
Practices like that would have been corporate suicide before the Internet, so I'm not sure why it's acceptable now! :-/
Lol...gotta give you props for that last question! :-)
Anyway...Ugly? Perhaps when one is unfairly comparing it to a system with over 20x the processing power. That would be like comparing the Wright Bros. plane to a 747: not even in the same league with both of them being awesome in their own right.
And as a proud owner and one who's spoken directly with one of the developers behind the FB2, I'd hardly say that this is cheap. A cheap plug 'n ...
