well actually it doesn't necessarily have to be a continuation of Cole's story it could be a completely different story.
Anyway even if it was it wont matter not many games continue where the last left off. its a game and is therefore imaginary so they can do whatever they like.

your comment has just given me an idea, wouldn't it be awesome if tryarch did something a bit different and went with a more homefront style game with all the CoD feature still there, just that resistace fighter theme or similar . It would be a welcome change from the usual modern then ww2 or cold war then modern again, that would actually be more interesting

Unfortunatly alot of people miss the point of CoD games all togeather, they are not made to have amazing graphics and gameplay, they are made for people to have a quick game for 30 mins which you cant do on the likes of bf3, but Call of Duty, its like McDonalds, its not good quality, over before you know it and overpriced for what you get yet inevitably people still go back and buy it.
perhaps it is Heavenly Sword for the VITA, PSV game, wouldnt surprise and would be awesome.

well why ask for less, lots of games didn't have a place in the online market yet when they entered it they made good attempts. most fps games these days have online play so to leave it out would be, in my opinion foolish.
they should at least create an online Beta to see how well they did, if people are impressed keep it in, if not throw it out.

cant wait, i would like some rpg elements too the game, such as items etc. would add a new layer of gameplay.
also i would like to see perhaps cans and glass on the ground, creating noise etc. a survival multiplayer mode would be cool too.
Also on the co-op. there could be a completely seperate co-op story following different people, with a different story. would be cool
