Well, they don't have to worry about plants ruining the framerate too much - it takes place in a city, with much more linear environments.
The console footage they showed struggled to keep a consistant 30fps. It usually dipped to 25 during foliage-heavy scenes.
These vignette videos sold me.
Ima head out to Best Buy to pick it up Day 1.
Can someone tell me how old Sam should be?
From what I recall, it's almost 50.
Well, it's $40, so don't be too picky.
Of course, here comes Al Bundy - the ultimate Microsoft hater.
Wait, REALLY?!
That's news to me.
Wow, look at those bummers!
It's nice to see that it's 'actually' coming out.
I'm still debating whether I should rent it or buy it. I don't believe buying used is right, so that's out of the question.

As for the hardcore: I'm sold if they simply offer a Minority Report-style interface.
I don't think he doesn't deserve it though.
Molyneux is a visionary - really 'tries' to push games forward.
Most here would argue that he didn't deliver, but he has his mind in the right place. If you listen to interviews with him, just hear out his opinions, what he tries to achieve, he is nothing short of a great man.
And he has a British accent.
Arthritis at the knees.
I remember seeing the old version of Splinter Cell - Hobo Sam walking around picking objects up. There was a definite focus of hand-to-hand combat, and blending with the environment.
But this one turned out better. If anything, it looks a little worse from those old demos...
I'm not complaining. :D
This thing is way too flimsy for my liking. If a few drops can ruin the screen...
