Look at all these 360s fans on here trying to make sense of how the PS3 caught with the 360. It's simple, vgchartz has been lying along with M$ reporting shipped numbers instead of sold to consumers. Now that the 360 is sure to be passed by the PS3, the 360 fans will resort to something like sales don't matter.

Sony knows how to keep the lead unlike M$. Move will continue to sale well above what you 360 fans thought it would. You thought Move would only sale 3m by the end of 2010. How wrong you were.
Morganfell is right. M$ lead was do to coming out early. They figured they could stop Sony by throwing their money around, and buying up exclusive content. Time and time and time again they bashed Sony for taking a chance on new technology. First M$ said that you the gamers dont want to watch movies on your 360 you all want to play games. Then they turn around and get netflix and facebook. They wait around to see whats hot then they jump on the bandwangon. They are living off windows money.
360 fans are really trying to spend this. They new this day was coming. The fact that the PS3 is about to take the lead is killing them. Once the 360 goes to 3rd it will be nothing else for them to talk about.
GT5 will put the PS3 over the 360. I think kinect will sale a lot of units but it won't be enough to stop the PS3 from over taken them. The next big game from M$ is Gears3 and that won't be out for awhile. Sony on the other hand has an abundance of top notch exclusives coming out.
I have a 80g with bc. I back up all my save files on a external hardrive to be safe. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I said this awhile ago, that vgchartz has been undertracking the PS3 for a long time. The truth is coming to light. Just imagine how many PS3s will sale when GT5 is released. If these numbers are true the PS3 will have the lead after the holidays.
You do realise that it was vgchartz saying that Sony lied about move numbers. You do realise that vgchartz has continued to lie about how many PS3s Sony has sold. It becoming much more apparent everytime Sony releases their actual numbers. Also you do realise that M$ got caught lying about how many 360s they've sold.
The PS3 will sale 400k that month when GT5 comes out. It's not GT5P.
Sony is in fire. M$ will be last by the end of 2011. Maybe sooner than that.
Kinect will help 360 sells but not as much as GT5 will for the PS3. The PS3 is only 2.9.mill behind. It's selling faster than the 360. We will see the a lead change in 2011. Well said. There are so many repeat buyers of the 360, it ridicules. RROD was the best thing to happen to M$. Without it they would have been overtaken by the PS3 by now. When Sony updates the sales for the PS3 people are going to be really surprised. I'm sure the numbers for the PS3 are pass 40mill.
