Have there been any improvements to the performance mode in recent updates? The game seemed great, but I wasn't pleased with the way it looked in performance mode. I'm hoping there is a major Pro update.

One of the factors that earned some extra favor for Avatar is the fact that it looks and runs as well as one could expect for all platforms, from consoles and previous generation GPUs to the top end enthusiast cards pushing the limits. With FSR3 and frame generation, an RX 7600, a GPU you can buy for under $350, can average around 70 fps at 1440p with Ultra settings. Many bleeding edge graphical showcase games seem to target one or two generations or more of graphics cards in the future like...

Seems absurd all these new games are getting remaster within a few years but we've had nothing with games like Bloodborne, which could massively benefit from more advanced hardware, particularly the frame rate and pacing.

They know how to make a great rugged female character demonstrated clearly by Tess. A character like that would have been so much better than a female Hoarah Loux from Elden Ring.

The update for No Man's Sky on PSVR2 looks very good. I just tried it last night. I didn't get into the game as much as many have, but it looks very impressive as long as I don't think too much about Red Matter 2 (obviously very different in scale so understandable).

I got Starfield for $57 from cdkeys.

I wasn't expecting this. After Sennheiser and Beyerdynamic, Audeze would be one of the brands I'd be looking at for a new headset. They make some high end gear, far above the typical "gamer" brand headsets. I was looking at the Penrose until I realized it uses a USB dongle, too risky in terms of hostile cat attack, so I went with a 3.5mm jack Drop/ Sennheiser PC38x instead.

I got attacked and downvoted so many times after I saw the early footage and said there is no way the CPUs of the then current gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) would be able to run it properly. LOL.

It's not just the SSD that makes the difference. Linus (Tech Tips) kind of made a fool of himself thinking that just swapping in a faster SSD and not instantly seeing a huge difference proved fast SSDs were not that important. There are also accompanying I/O hardware and the design of the game itself to take advantage of this capability that gives you the almost instant loading times. That will gradually become closer to the norm over time on PC, but it's not as simple as just swappin...

It would probably run well enough that you could play through it with significantly cut down settings, but if you're waiting 20 to 30 seconds for something to load instead of 2 seconds, that is certainly not the same experience. I think some people with new hardware are forgetting just how much time we have been spending in past generations waiting at little loading bottlenecks on elevators, slowly squeezing through little gaps, wading through mud, ect. at strategically placed locations o...

That is a blog quoting Xbox marketing. Your source is second hand Xbox marketing and PR? Fantastic.

You're seriously still regurgitating this "true RDNA 2" nonsense? This was the basis of the nonsense about PS5 supposedly not being able to do ray tracing or couldn't use FSR, which time has shown was total BS. Both machines are based on very similar technology with some unique customizations. The major improvements this generation have been CPU power and storage speed, which are good on both machines. The differences you're focused on are marginal compared to those adva...

It's weird how I can enjoy my PS5 and PC (5800x/ 7900 XTX Nitro+) with a ~55 Tflop difference, but the marginal 2 Tflops delta is really going to come into play in a couple of years. Yeah, sure. LOL. I was enjoying not hearing any recent bickering over marginally more pixelated grass and whatever BS people debate about around here. It's ridiculous.

I'm confused by these results. Does this title really mean most popular after the legendary Barry Burton?

Ranni obviously, one of my favorite FROM characters since Solaire. I enjoyed the little story between Roderika and the blacksmith as well.

LOL. What is this disagree supposed to mean? Someone thinks that I DIDN'T have some issues with motion sickness with certain VR games? This website is something else.

I am going to try conditioning my stomach with the Kayak game so I can handle this. I haven't played VR much since I upgraded from PS4 Pro to PS5. Had no problems with AstroBot or Moss, but 1st person and cockpit views did a number on me.

I'm still way too early in the game to know what to think of this other than Frey talks way too much and the dialogue is awful. I got a key for the PC version with my 6900XT last year but it only recently was finally released. I've got it running decently with FSR2 at good settings, but that doesn't help address the mediocre writing obviously.

"✔️ Hilarious dialogue."
Very questionable pro.

For whatever reason Arizona Sunshine was the VR game that really kicked me in the guts. I was queasy and sweating within the first few minutes. That game really did not agree with me.

I really wanted to play RE7 and Skyrim that way, but my stomach had other ideas. I have had zero problems with extreme temperatures, driving through mountains, cruse ships, helicopter rides, roller coasters, military training, ect., but I finally got a taste of the nausea I'd always heard about with VR. I think it's the fact that I see a visual representation in motion but my movement is static. I'm going to try to get my stomach back in shape for PSVR2 next month. Stocking up on ...
