You could ask yourself why CNET review of other games don't get mentioned on N4G. It's because hype around Order has been massive and N4G members want every single review of the game to pop up here, so they don't miss out on what gaming websites think of the game.
That could be the reason.
As for the review, if you read it, they bring up good points on both sides of the judgement scale.

I'm still waiting for the developers to tweet that every gaming website unjustly hates them and their game and that the game deserves a 10 from everyone.
Not only did they get tons of money to develop and market this game the way they did but they also got a fair amount of development time + delays. Something alot of game developers would dream of.

I haven't played it yet but i've seen the gameplay videos of many playthroughs online, because i was very curious whether this game was short and how the gameplay was.
The game is without a doubt on the shorter end and that's from the videos of players that don't rush through the game.
All i'm saying is that the game should have offered some replay value of some sort. Why the developers didn't realize this is beyond me.
On the article count... there are more articles released today than back in the days of Heavenly Sword and many are gathered here on N4G so it seems to be alot more, and maybe it is, but it's a growing industry and there's bound to be more voices heard.
On the game. Last of Us had amazing design in levels where a) you could choose different paths and different strategies on building up tools. b) you could play the game stealthy and/or action oriented go all offensive....
Hate the fact that they put up logos of the games. We know it's the Order, why do they need to ruin the art.
If you pay an extra visit to you memories you might find something that reminds you of a bunch of articles actually pulling it to pieces over the short length of that game.
Yes, but if you actually pay attention to what people say about this game, it's quite obvious this game isn't really an AMAZING game. It's a good game. Some design flaws here and there. But where most people find enjoyment is in the setting and different weapons.

I've never paid as much for games as today.
If the game is purely linear without any side missions or anything after the single player is finished, then i'm gonna feel i just got robbed if the game isn't absolutely mindblowing after 6-7 hours, and i mean a game that stands out as much as Last of Us.

I read the article and i actually agree with many of the points the writer put forward.
What i don't agree with is when he put up Last Of Us, Bioshock infinite and shadow of mordor saying they are games that are about 10-15 hours and don't have much replayability after the main campaign. I wouldn't want it to hold them back, but boy if they could somehow manage 60fps/1080p without drop in visuals... that would probably one of the greatest technical achievements current gen has seen.
Don't buy a single DLC, as simple as that. Hopefully more gamers realize what they're actually doing when paying for DLC and it'll make a change down the line. As for now, there's nothing we can do, only some things we shouldn't do.
Well, the new characters that have been introduced haven't been noteworthy at all. Just generic and don't look memorable at all.

While i agree with you on your point, it's not the case here. These seem to be in game visuals and boy are they great.

MK9 was the best MK yet. Not speaking like a hardcore competetive tournament gamer, but as a "casual gamer" who battles it out with friends and siblings on the couch. This next iteration is going to be epic.

The reviews weren't allowed to be put up until a day before release. That was by design from the publisher to allow as little as time as possible for gamers to realize this game isn't worth the price of admission and cancel their preorders.
