With a recent tweet, Mass Effect’s producer Casey Hudson revealed that the next Mass Effect might be a prequel. Flynn R. from Leviathyn discusses whether that possibility is the right choice for the franchise.
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

Mass Effect 3 is remade, rebuilt, and remastered thanks to a huge Mass Effect mod which changes almost everything in the Bioware RPG, as we await Mass Effect 4
Its not that the ending was a disaster for the trilogy but i was so confused that it didnt set up the next installment. Its my favorite universe to date...period. I was hoping that decisions effected who lived and dies but that the ending would ultimately be the same kn a macro level. Maybe, u decide how it happens but essentially the universe is saved and shepphard is a hero. Then u can move on. Go 500 years into the future. A prequel will b bad because we will always hav the ending in r heads. But, it isnt story or the universe that worries me. That is the draw and will b fine. The reason bioware has stood out is ingenuity.
Now, they r asking ppl about dragon age and the new mass effect. Cmon? We dont know and dont wanna know. U have to go back to the drawing board and determine the future of video games. Thats what u do. Thats why mass effect was extrordinary. The conversation wheel, the decisions, the rpg element, characterization etc. I hav faith but it has dwindled a bit.
