New video games stir at least some sort of buzz. And no on will really know until it comes out. So I will just say yes
I'm still uncertain as to Wii U's future. But I will say that the software will determine its success, if the right software is made Wii U could become big. If we get Skyward Bored, Metroid Mommy and Wii U music, it will be a dud.
It needs to be able to continue to sell to Family/Casual market of the norm while building and maintaining a healthy 3rd party developer base. And not just ports. New IP's also. I will agree Wii U could be in a tricky timing scenario.
Maybe if wii u adds more media options & gives details about its network functionality, ppl will be a bit more intrigued.. We nx to nothing about the thing & it launches in a few months.. Accomplishments, network, specs, price, hell even launch date would help.. Oh & convincing the casual crowd that its a new system may help out just a bit
It'll definitely have an impact when it first launches. After that, I'm really not sure yet.
