Mega Man and Pac-Man confirmed as Sony exclusives for Street Fighter X Tekken

i can see cole as an exclusive character but pacman and mega man were never exclusive to begin with.

Something just doesnt add up. When namco made soul calibur 2 and had and exclusive character for each platform...that made sense. Link for the cube, Heihachi for the ps2 and spawn (???) for xbox.

Even with soul calibur 4 and the whole yoda and vader thing but they were cross available anyways.

So now it makes you wonder if there will be any kind of special appearances of exclusive characters for the 360. And if so......who?

Maybe cause the PS3 versions of Street Fighter IV got almost double the sales and Capcom learned from that.

There was an article about them trying to negotiate with MS for an exclusive character and they said they'd like to have done either Master Chief or Marcus Fenix but that never came to be. I personally don't think either of those characters would've suited the game well anyway.

Yes, it is their decision, but their decision is the reason I didn't buy MvC3 and I won't be buying this, but I will be getting TxSF because Namco has won me over in the fighting genre this gen.

Its pretty ugly if Xbox gets no exclusive characters at all to match the 5 Sony is getting but I guess I wont be buying this tripe for another go on the Capcom "screw gamers over" merry-go-round. A lot more reason for consumers not to even attempt a preorder for Xbox, just look at the stupid consumers who don't buy Xbox in Japan because of similar crap. A free market is fine, if everyone plays by fair rules. I understand cole as he is a ps3 character but it's obviously more than that! Funnily enough I wasn't ever gonna buy this game because capcoms dire dlc rip offs, I have both consoles and bought MK for Xbox at a bargain bin. Multi platform games are slowly destroying the industry and it's fanboys who are to blame. Kudos for a console exclusive character, but it should have been fair and give the same amount of luv to other platforms. So all I can say to both you and Capcom is FUATHURIO!

Capcom did they that they favoured Sony's platform. So I am not surprized at all that both the PS3 and the Vita are getting 5 exclusive characters. BTW heard people talk about the 360 version but isn't there a 3DS version or is it Tekken Vs StreetFighter (dang I'm confused)?

I am already planning on getting Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and I might get Street Fighter Vs Tekken if it turns out to be good.

I've heard of exclusive characters in fighting games before but 5 exclusive characters on one console that you can't get anywhere else? Thats extreme to say the least. If you only have a 360 you probably won't want to get it cause clearly your not getting the best version and plus you pretty much going along with this crap. I never see the point in making exclusive characters for a fighting game. You want to have all the fighters availble, now if you go somewhere and see someone with a ps3 and there's using fighters that you don't have on your 360, you'll definitely feel short changed, way to go on pissing people off again capcom. Just announce the super hyper version of your game now so people can just wait instead of buying the gipped version of your game.

Not to sound like a troll (though I don't think I really care), but 360 owners go along with a lot of other crap, and most of it they're more than happy to justify.

That aside, who knows what influenced the decision? Maybe, unlike for, say, Call of Duty, Microsoft decided not to pay for the extra characters or whatever, and so they're only going to be on PS3/Vita. Capcom HAS shown itself to be an ass of a corporation this generation, but if Sony shelled out the cash and their competitor didn't, can you blame them in this case?
