With Sony and Microsoft aiming to release consoles within close proximity of each other, the question is raised whether some Xbox gamers will switch over to PS4 instead of Xbox next.

Using the motion controllers to combine a variety of shapes and colors (and a bit of freehand painting) you’ll produce beats, synths and…other musical sounds (I’m not an EDM expert so you’ll have to forgive my ignorance on the subject) which will create and elevate the chosen track (again not a huge selection but enough to showcase ArtPulse).

Normally I try to go into ever Indie title I play with an open mind, and that was no different with Himno. The game boasts “a non-violent, no death platformer.” That may be true that you do not fight off zombies or orcs. However, the bit about not dying is a load of crap as you will constantly fall into the water as you have no clue where you are going half the time.
The animation is nice and it looks like it controls well but they seem to have forgotten to make it a game.
Lyam writes: - Mekabolt is very simple in concept. Your gun itself is the mekabolt and shooting enemies allows you to manipulate them in a way to continue on in the stage. For instance, one enemy walks on a platform and by shooting it, you can use it to access higher heights. Another is a flying one that when shot, it falls to the ground briefly, letting the player have a moment to jump atop of it and ride upwards. Figuring out the patterns of the enemies and what their benefits are is the key to success in finishing stages. There’s not much difficulty since each time a new concept such as a new enemy appears, the next few stages are simplified to learn the benefits of that enemy.
Of course...just like some PS3 gamers will jump ship to the Xbox 720.
"I think the full title should really be. "Will they jump ship because Microsoft failed core gamers in the last years of Xbox 360"."
I think the full title should really be. "Will they jump ship because it is now known that Sony offers MORE varied exclusive titles on their gaming consoles than Microsoft does."
It is UNQUESTIONABLE that the PS3 offers more exclusive titles than the 360. No one can deny this. But that doesn't automatically mean that the 360 has failed core gamers. Core gamers love to play multiplatform games as well...and Microsoft has offered that in spades. You could even make the argument that the 360 is the core gamers console of choice since there is more weekly online activity on XBL than PSN.
We can't assume that core gamers MUST be interested in exclusives titles, because that simply isn't true.
Microsoft has kinda dropped the ball this last year with Kinect versus core gamers so I expect some will jump over unless Sony have an extortionate high entry price for the PS4 compared to Xbox 720.
@logicwins.

Interesting, especially since I know plenty of 360 owners that jumped ship early on because of the hardware problems. Some have come back, but for the most part they have stayed with their PS roots.
Since it will be released 1st there is no doubt some 360 owners will purchase it, but there is also that loyal group that will stay M$ for various reasons. This is just what happened when the PS3 and 360 came out.
As for me I'm a multiplatform owner so I will get both in due time. That is why it is better to be a true console gamer instead of a fanboi that thinks one is so much better than the other.
I don't know. This might sound trivial but for me the thing I feel keeps me as a customer is great customer service.
I like being able to speak to someone from my own country when I call customer service.
I always found it funny that the company from Japan allows me to do that while the American company outsources it's helpline to Asia and explaining a problem to someone who doesn't even speak English as their main language is usually another problem on top of the one already.
i have never owned an xbox before but if microsoft comes out with a franchise that really gets my attention then i will be getting the next xbox , they came really close with Alan Wake this generation and the wii u better bring something new besides Zelda or no buy from me , sony well thats a given so i might end up owning all consoles next gen lol , i dont know if im gonna have the time to play them all though
