It's so strange. I mean look at Arkham City's numbers yet there's an odd silence around the title lately. It's massively anticipated yet a bit quiet. Well I guess that's how Batman rolls before he makes his move so that's a bit ironic.

More people pre-ordered an HD remake of a decade old game over Uncharted 3? Daaaamn, incredible how Halo maintained such a HUGE following after all these years.

EDIT: Its also shocking to see Ghost Recon get more pre-orders than Saints Row: The Third. GR has very little hype behind it this year.

Wow the Forza 4 numbers are really scary. For being hailed as the new king of racing sims 360 owners aren't showing any support.

And why don't pc owners buy games?

EU is historically the racing game region. Plus forza 4 is pre-selling higher than forza 3 did and it went out to sell close to 5 million.

I'm pretty sure an 11 million lead in NA will give the 360 a HUGE edge when it comes to software sales. Use some of that logic logicwins.

He doesn't use logic.

If he did, he'd know that the original Halo's legacy alone is enough to warrant those numbers, regardless of what else is coming out.

He'd know that UC3 is already outperforming UC2 in pre-orders, and that that game sold extremely well.

He'd know that people REALLY want to get back to playing Master Chief, and that, like it or not, 360 owners ARE somewhat starved for exclusives this year.

But he doesn't use logic, so he doesn't know. Instead, he's likely to use some sort of pseudo-logic to spin the numbers into a negative... oh, he's already done that.

Edit: I've tagged him for trolling, stealth though it may be. But I highly doubt it'll amount to anything, since the mods apparently LIKE the way he trolls.

VGC doesn't factor in digital sales. Also this is the Americas. Europe is a whole other continent whose numbers we don't know much about.

lol sales don't always equal quality besides it has as many pre orders as forza 3 did.

when a ps3 exclusive doesn't sell as much as a 360 exclusive but has better reviews and ratings you ps3 fans hold on to that and proclaim that quality>sales but when it happens the other way around you start talking about how sales figures are the most important thing.

we all know COD fails but because it sells more than any other game are you going to say its the best game around simply because it sells more ? we all know thats not true

RE3 multiplayer is pretty much dead, I tried to play this weekend, only 2 of the modes have anyone playing, and they are rarely full 8vs8. The game is only one month old!

Modern Warfare 3 has over 600k lead over BF3 on Xbox 360. It's safe to say that MW3 has BF3 beat.

MW3 will also sell 20million+ by this time next year.(all consoles combined)
BF3 will be lucky to reach 6mil.

How do these numbers equate to more system sales in your mind? Pre-orders usually indicate preexisting system owners. I mean, who pre-orders a game for a system they don't own?

That aside, most multiplats are NOT system sellers, and I can't really see any of these as being that.

So... yeah... probably gas instead of thinking.
