Analyzing Aeris' Death In Final Fantasy VII

Game Theory looks at the anatomy of a murder that has rocked the gaming world since 1997. Should Aeris have died based on her wounds? Did she die at all? The results will shatter what you thought you knew about this iconic and heartbreaking moment of game history. (Final Fantasy VII, PC, PS3)

Wow, that's actually a pretty impressive analysis. But holy crap, now every time I see Aeris' death scene I'll be thinking about this video. :O

really? I stopped watching because the way the guy talk annoyed the living hell out of me. LOL

He pretty much comes to the conclusion that there's no way Aeris was killed by the sword stab and she probably died via drowning in the lake because Cloud didn't check for a pulse. lol

But then, I know nothing about anatomy so I have no idea if his facts are true or not. :O

After playing CC, it's obviously that she deserved it ;/

I just remember being relieved that I didn't waste my time building her up and looking for her weapons/skills.

I don't know if it makes me a bad person, but I literally felt nothing after she died. I used Tifa for all the magic stuff anyway crossed my mind

I felt a bit sad when she died (mostly because she was my primary healer), but it was the Jenova battle afterwards (where Aeris' theme song was playing) that was more emotional for me. I can't even explain why.

The thing is, I was quite young when I was playing Final Fantasy VII for the first time. When Aerith died it was quite sudden and shocking but I got over it almost immediately lol (perhaps because I was young like that).

However, when I was playing Crisis Core, even though I knew Zack would die at the end, his death was still pretty emotional.

I currently think Zack's death is more emotional than Aerith's death, who agrees?! :D

Cloud's response. "Um my bad but she did look dead and I did apologize to her in Advent Children"
