AppSpy - Inspector Gadget's MAD Dash is more than your average endless runner, throwing in a few boss battles and some unique scenarios, but ultimately it's a victim of its repetitive nature.
It's tough hating the 80s, the decade that gave us the Nintendo Entertainment System, Michael Jackson in his prime and the Lakers/Celtics rivalry. Even the toys looked cooler, and you can't knock classic films like Aliens, The Empire Strikes Back and Raiders of the Lost Ark; then there's 80s music, a staple at clubs across the globe.
With this in mind, the App Store has become a time machine of sorts, transporting users to the famous decade of excess through numerous downloads. That said, here are a few of our favorites.
Chris Buffa (Modojo)
On paper, Inspector Gadget's MAD Dash should receive a perfect score. Not only does it play almost exactly like the critically acclaimed Canabalt, but the developers at XMG did an outstanding job integrating the classic TV show's personality into the game, right down to the authentic theme music and character voices. Too bad playing it makes us want break our iPhones.

148apps - Go go gadget endless runner! There may be a few endless runners that are better, but none have an excellently effective Inspector Gadget overlay.
