Gears of War Ultimate Revealed, Kinect Edition?

Epic and Microsoft may have delayed the Gears of War announcement for the VGAs, but the game in question may have just been accidentally revealed ahead of an official announcement. Could this be the rumored Kinect version of Gears of War?

@Aloren Super Mario allstars for Wii is a pretty big rip off. Considering first of all that it's the exact same version as the SNES version. As a new game it is not a rip off but to people who bought the game on SNES it is.

I think the GoW Collection was $40 and the Mario All-Stars thing was $30.

No more greedy than charging $30 dollars for a demo and then charging those same people full price for the final version which included all the material they already bought in the demo....but by all means tell us how MS is the only greedy ones.

You can get GoW1 and GoW2 (version with all dlc) under 20€.. I see no point making them under same package.

Kinect is not designed for GeoW, maybe they can implement a controller plus kinect solution, using kinect for some aspects of the game like meele.

I have yet to see real numbers and those buying this piece of junk are usually uneducated individuals that do not know their a$$ from a hole in the ground. I wonder how many of these are being returned just like the Wii. It has already been stated that Kinect was the biggest failure in 2010.

There has been no in house testing at Epic with the Kinect. If it is Kinect enabled, MS is handling all the testing.

It's probably a Gears collection. Considering Gears 3 is the last in the trilogy, it makes sense if it is a collection. Kind of like the God of War Ultimate editon.

I asked my dad (Rod Ferguson) and he said its Gears 1 & 2 using the Gears 3 engine and with dedicated servers,horde for gears 1,and all map packs.

If it includes all the map packs, etc., it is a good deal. It's just that MS isn't known for cutting gamers a break on pricing - that's why it is doubtful. Gears is one of the better 360 games.

Gears of War is one of my favorite multiplayer game of all time. I know its the worst in terms of technical stuff like lagging and bullcrap like that, trust me I've experienced it so much but blasting a dude with a shotgun is so satisfying.

Gears 1 + Gears 2, and Kinect is supported. It's actually called Gears of War: Fitness edition.

You use Kinect to scan your face, and Marcus looks like a paper-mation version of you throughout the game. Also, if you wave your controller around, and make "Vrrrmmm! Vrrrmmm!" sounds, the chainsaw activates if you're using a Lancer. And of course the fitness part comes in while Kinect scans for you doing squats, which is the gesture for taking cover. Soon, you are as beefy as Marcus.

Considering Cliffy B has said numerous times that Gears 3 would NOT support Kinect, I can't see them having Gears 1 and 2 supporting it. Ultimate will be a GOTY combo pack; nothing more.

Lol give it a rest you so called fan boys. One min kinect is going to fail then it has lag then it has no core games. Then some news about a possible core game and you slag that off too. If it is a kinect game great we get to see what they can do for the core gamers if you don't like it don't buy it. If its gears 1 n 2 and dlc then fine if you don't like it don't buy it. Its really that simple.
