a pretty comprehensive review, Addresses the issues and talks about the differences with Forza.

great review and like the way guy was very honest about this and forza , if only other big reviewers would take note and i dont mean pound note

N4GAddict5330d ago

It was a pretty fair comparison.

chadwarden5330d ago

IGN doesn't have the word "comprehensive" in their vocabulary.

N4GAddict5330d ago

They only care about being the first site to give out a score

poopoojames5330d ago

that's cause they r coolz

I find it quite suspicious that IGN decided to wait for the online servers to come online to give a comprehensive review, YET despite the fact that many other many other reviewers

-Giantbomb
-Gametrailers
-G4TV

Have all decided not to review the game. Maybe IGN was lucky and got online working along with the other 32 people and didn't have online problem... MAYBE.

They have 3 or 4 days to do the review a game with a 1,000 cars, countless modes and features and near unlimited customisability but 4 days was plenty for a comprehensive review... which neglects to mention a lot of what GT5 has to offer.

Well that's hard to say. Maybe best car sim, but dude Twisted Metal, Mario Kart 64, F-Zero were amazing.

As a kid i had some heart attacks playing this game. The soundtrack right on point with those close calls. I love this game.

Agreed. I still love it and play it often. Still sucks that Disney was like, nah... this game didn't do well, when it did well against other racers and reviewed well.

MaximusPrime_23h ago

Split/Second was one of the game I enjoyed playing. In fact it's still the most popular video on my YouTube channel. It's a gameplay of Split/Second posted 15 years ago. This past month 25 people viewed it. Split/Second is a favourite amongst racing gamers worldwide.

This game was super awesome and hella fun playing split-screen with the homie. Trashing your friend’s car during split-screen competition using one of those QuickTime events was so funny haha

That and Blur both deserve a sequel, they came out within days of eachother.

Project: Horned Owl Review

From the mid-1980s to the early part of the 2000s, light gun rail shooters were a staple in both arcade and home system gaming. Arguably, the genre started to really hit its stride in the mid-1990s. While games like Time Crisis, Virtual Cop, and House of the Dead, among others, dominated both the home system and arcade space, some one relegated to only home game systems. Today, we’ll be talking about a little-known cult game published by Sony called Project: Horned Owl. This game was developed by Alfa Systems, and all in all, this is a fun game.
