personally i just want a videogame player whose sole purpose is to play games. i don't need facebook, i don't need netflix, i don't need 3D and blu-ray players, i already have most of that with other devices.

the industry needs a return to simplicity: games, games, games and nothing else. stop trying to be low-end pcs and media centers. jack of all trades, master of none.

As long as it doesn't affect the games then I don't see how it's a bad thing to do other things. You may like paying extra money for a bluray player but most will disagree. In the case of the Ps3 it's master of multiple trades.
