Keighley teases best lineup ever for this year's VGAs

Geoff Keighley has already started hyping up this year's Spike TV Video Game Awards with some recent comments.

I think it's just better to avoid any tease from Keighly, and just watch the VGA's and enjoy it. Then you won't be disappointed if some speculation or rumor tells you that "Game X" will be revealed at the VGA's and then nothing about "Game X" is showed. But it would be really awesome if we got a trailer for Agent during the show. Haven't heard a word about it since last year's E3 and the VGA's would be a good place to showcase Rockstar's North latest project.

EDIT: On topic. I think it's safe to say that we can expect Resistance 3 and Uncharted 3, which in my book would be enough to make it best in last couple of years. Last year they had decent line up.

You're completely right. Keighley is such a tool. Every year he says the same thing and the shows end up being complete crap. Overhyped bs with more advertising and commercials than actual videogames for that time block. rediculous

it was good show, its just that people will always complaine. Watch same happening this year even if they show Uncharted 3 and R3, people will be like "We all knew those were coming, boring show, way to go Geoff".
Last year they had good show if you go back and look at it. Not mind blowing but still good.

They had some pretty nice reveals, like Arkham City and The Force Unleashed II (though that game didn't turn out to be that great). But they really need to keep people like the Jersey Shore cast off...

I hate VGA for what they are, bringing TV celebrities or singers that have no clue about games and don't give a s..t, to make us gamers look "cooler". It's pathetic BUT i only watch it for those trailers, don't care about awards either.

the VGA is a good show every year...but some people expect MEGATONS on every show like E3's, TGS's, VGA's etc etc...we are past the middle of this current console cycle so we can't be expecting super mega huge graphics improvements, just some good solid games, maybe some good sequels and i'm fine with it. If it turns out they have a megaton in it so be it, but don't get your hopes so high cause you then get disappointed.

I wouldn't doubt it. Think about it. The VGA have peen home to several big reveals. Not known for all new announcements, rather, first time reveals for previously unseen games. For example:

1. Agent
2. The Last Guardian
3. Infamous 2
4. Resistance 3
5. Gears 3

I'm going to hope blindly and without reason that MS has an exclusive or two up it's sleeve. Note the words "blindly" and "without reason". Let's see if the truly haven't forgotten about the core like they "say".

More than likely though, we'll see a reveal of Codename: Kingdoms, and Gears of War 3.
