Isn't this what you always say? and they all end up being overhyped sh!t?

B-Real2064923d ago

One will be the new Fight Night for sure. Probably R3 will be one of those as well.

lowcarb4923d ago

Definitely not falling for that crap again from VGA's or freaking E3. I'm to the point where I need to see it to believe it period.

Dragun6194923d ago

I think it's just better to avoid any tease from Keighly, and just watch the VGA's and enjoy it. Then you won't be disappointed if some speculation or rumor tells you that "Game X" will be revealed at the VGA's and then nothing about "Game X" is showed. But it would be really awesome if we got a trailer for Agent during the show. Haven't heard a word about it since last year's E3 and the VGA's would be a good place to showcase Rockstar's North latest project.

Snark...

EDIT: On topic. I think it's safe to say that we can expect Resistance 3 and Uncharted 3, which in my book would be enough to make it best in last couple of years. Last year they had decent line up.
My (unrealistic) wish, new Syphon Filter for PS3.

Blaze9294923d ago

You're completely right. Keighley is such a tool. Every year he says the same thing and the shows end up being complete crap. Overhyped bs with more advertising and commercials than actual videogames for that time block. rediculous

hakeem09964923d ago (Edited 4923d ago )

lets hope they finally revealed KILLER INSTINCT 3 FOR CHRIST SAKE

showtimefolks4923d ago

voucher on thsi one they were rushing the show last year too much celeb crap this needs to be more about gaming ad gamers bring some real gaming fans on stage not the celbs who are getting paid and told what to say

new trailers
few new titles and a trailers for agent, resiatance 3
syphon filter would be nice
and in between no awards for games like they were always announcing some awards for some games all the time during the show

and over better gaming awards we have movies awards for everything else

+ Show (2) more repliesLast reply 4923d ago
LordMarius4923d ago (Edited 4923d ago )

Uncharted 3 like 2 years ago
but definitely we will see Resistance 3 there

SixZeroFour4923d ago

last years LOOKED like it was going to shape up to be a good show, but keighley remained the king of overhyping, so i doubt this year would be any different than the orevious ones

capjacksparrow4923d ago

Last years show sucked in terms of previews, and he kept saying they had so much good stuff.

TOO PAWNED4923d ago

it was good show, its just that people will always complaine. Watch same happening this year even if they show Uncharted 3 and R3, people will be like "We all knew those were coming, boring show, way to go Geoff".
Last year they had good show if you go back and look at it. Not mind blowing but still good.

Valay4923d ago

They had some pretty nice reveals, like Arkham City and The Force Unleashed II (though that game didn't turn out to be that great). But they really need to keep people like the Jersey Shore cast off...

TOO PAWNED4923d ago (Edited 4923d ago )

I hate VGA for what they are, bringing TV celebrities or singers that have no clue about games and don't give a s..t, to make us gamers look "cooler". It's pathetic BUT i only watch it for those trailers, don't care about awards either.
I pay attention to awards that dev vote on, don't remember how its called

Ar Tonelico Qoga: Knell Of Ar Ciel Retro Review – Love Conquers All

Gary Green said: You’ll be forgiven if you haven’t heard of the Ar Tonelico trilogy. The previous two games arrived so late in the PS2’s life-cycle that they simply went unnoticed. While most were tinkering with their shiny new PS3s, Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia and Ar Tonelico II: Melody of Metafalica were being ‘returned to sender’ by your local Game stores. Luckily, you won’t need to have played them to understand and appreciate this third and final chapter, Qoga (pronounced k-yoga) tells the story of a racial war between humans and Reyvateils, a breed of biologically produced female cyborgs capable of reproduction, while still having a digital mind.

Oh my god. I kinda wish this would get a remaster on PS5, it would be awesome. One of my favorite games on PS3.

That and 3D Dot Game Heroes. It's a shame that some stuff is stuck on PS3.

Knightofelemia2h ago

Ar Tonelico 3 is good I still prefer the first AT game. The music is solid in all the games and Akiko Shikata is a very talented singer bringing life to the game. Only annoying part is well I find is Saki I always choose Finnel or Tyria. KOEI so needs to HD remaster the franchise along with Ar Nosurge and Ciel Nosurge since it never came to North America. I would day one the Ar Toneliceo games and Ar Nosurge if they were remastered.

I still have the limited edition of Qoga unopened. Unfortunately it never went up in value like I had hoped all these years.
