WorthPlaying: "I've always enjoyed the Dynasty Warrior series because it provides mindless button-mashing that is enjoyable every once in a while. Samurai Warriors 3 on the Nintendo Wii isn't much different. If it's not a series you're familiar with, I'll preface this review by telling you that it's a KOEI title that's basically a spin-off of the main Dynasty Warrior series, but there are so many similarities between the two games that it's really difficult to pinpoint any major differences."

NWR writes: "Samurai Warriors 3 is the third installment in the Samurai Warriors series and the first to be released on a Nintendo platform. Even though Tecmo Koei and Omega Force have handled the distribution and development of past games, Nintendo got its hands on Samurai Warriors 3 and published the game in territories outside of Japan. For those expecting the game to be at the same standard as many of Nintendo's other games, they will be disappointed to hear that Samurai Warriors 3 is a horrid entry into the Wii's ever-growing library of games."

To sum it up for you very briefly, Samurai Warriors 3 is Samurai Warriors 2, but with a crappier framerate and inferior voice-acting. If you’re new to the series, I can sum it up for you briefly: mindlessly mash the 'A' button a lot and you win."
