MS: Xbox 360 Offers The Best Experience For The Hardcore, Most Value Overall

Ask a PS3 fan and he’ll certainly tell you how much hardcore fun he’s console of choice offers. Do the same with an Xbox 360 owner, and they’ll utter the same thing. Who’s right, then?

They're both at the same price point. BUT, the fact is the PS3 offers a better value. It has blu ray, wifi (in all consoles), bluetooth, rechargeable controllers, and more exclusive games coming in the next year. It also has a better failure rate (less broken consoles) and is not limited to proprietary hardware like the 360. It can use ANY bluetooth headset and ANY 2.5" SATA hard-drive. How's that for value??

Sony PR vs Nintendo PR vs MS PR = win fior all of us, we want them competing, and sure, some prefer the PS3, some prefer the 360 and some prefer the Wii. What do you care?

Somethings value is completely objective to each person, If a kid has 4 of this best friends on xbox live the the 360 is of better value to him as his entertainment.

If alot of the kids friends are on the PS3 then surely the PS3 would hold more value.

If your the type of gamer that doesn't really care about party chat and just likes to have the odd online multiplayer game now and then, without having to pay subscriptions the PS3 is better value.

If your a fan of group chat and talking to new people online with a better integrated friends system then clearly the 360 is of better value.

I don't know why people keep fighting over this sure the PS3 is more feature rich for the money but with the launch of the 360s, both systems now offer great value for money.

As for which one to buy why not let the buyers make that choice as they will regardless arguing over it is pointless.

Somethings worth is objective to the person that owns it trying to say the PS3 is better value fact just makes you look like a c0ck.

Sorry, but that logic about 360 being a better value for the core gamer might have worked a couple years ago before people knew what the ps3 could do. But now, Sony has great advertising success with "it only does everything". And after that pathetic E3 for Microsoft, everyone now knows your going to really push hard for the casual market and hope that third party is going to be enough for your hardcore supporters .

Dont get me wrong here, the 360 is a good value and all, but it isnt better then the PS3. PS3 offers Blu-ray, Free online, more exclusives, There $50 yearly subscription isnt required, and in fact they GIVE you FREE products with it. I dont know. I think there on something.

i judge the consoles on my own experience with the games and hardware, not the say so of the company that makes it.

I have both and love them both but PS3 offers a way better value.

Online is free, Blu-ray, DLC is cheaper b/c it uses regular pricing not points that make you buy more than you need, video rentals are cheaper, Hard Drives are way cheaper and wallpapers are free b/c you can use your own. And the controllers come with rechargeable batteries plus you get a free HDMI cord now.

IMO 360 offers the worst value in gaming - because you must add 60 bucks to the cost of you system every year and MS has overpriced proprietary everything. The points system is a blatant scam to make you spend more than you want. Everything about MSs strategy is about taking as much money from the consumer as possible, they're like Apple in that regard - everything is overpriced and 'closed'. But I do enjoy my superior multiplats, when I bought it it had better exclusives but not anymore.
