Anyone else feel this seems like a better fit for like PSN or XBL? I'd buy it and many more games if they were downloadable. Streetfighter 4 for instance. I want it but feel it would be a better downloadable game. Oh well, there is always next gen.

It has a story mode. I fact, it will have the "deepest story mode of any fighting game".

Spoilers for the new game, I guess...

It takes place after MK: Armageddon. Shao Kahn is about to kill Raiden when he (Raiden) sends a message to his earlier self and so we rewind back to MK 1. Raiden doesn't really understand what's going on, but he knows something bad will happen. The game takes place during MK 1, 2 and 3 and Raiden is changing the course of things. They said that some things will be different. Obviously, since Raiden now knows some stuff about the future.

The ESRB only gives the AO rating when there's nudity and sex, I'm pretty sure. Gore is always fine.

I love how the innards are rendered. It makes the fatalities look more realistic. I haven't seen a fatality as badass as Scorpions since MK2

Hahahahaha! That was soo awesome! Damn I'm so impressed with this game in so many ways. This is the one fighter I need, between this and TM, such a great week! I have to add though, Ed Boon is an idiot. "We wanted to take it back to old days" "We weren't sure what the reaction would be" Ok, seriously dude? No offense but I know for a FACT people have been bitching at you for YEARS to make a proper MK game. Don't act like you didn't know what we've been waiting for.

man good ed boon. man he has really thought out this game from this time around. it looks freaking amazing. i love it how the combines all elements of previous mk with the new one with one add feature of the x-ray attack. LOVE IT...IT'S BRILLIANT. along with the the detail of damage after a fight...WOW! about time he listens to the fans!! i can not wait for this game to come out!
