If your going to buy 4 sets of controllers Move is going to be more expensive am only getting 2 sets.

Edit: True I haven't seen any 4 player games. But still 2 sub controllers the camera and 2 move controllers

(the cheapest possible solution to play a 2 player game with more than just one move controller game like ping pong)

Would set you back $99+50+30+30=$210 with a game.

i mean if KINECT is priced around 150 then its almost not a bad price for 3 extra controller

why would i buy 4 sets of controllers....2 is max for me...that comes to $160...similar to the rumored Kinect price...if Kinect is anywhere near $200 standalone....then that will only make the Move deal that much more enticing

Than again there are people who wouldn't buy Natal even if it was cheaper because the games are different then those on Move.

If Kinect is $150 for just the camera they may be the same because games are $40-60

I would be shocked if anyone spends time developing a 4 player game that required both controllers per person. In fact, I'll be shocked if they make a game that requires 4 move controllers by themselves simultaneously.

I think most multiplayer games will require just the move controller for two people or have you pass around one controller. I think the nunchuk is for single player games like Sorcery.

Are there any wii games that require 4 wiimotes and 4 nunchuks?

The PS3 was said to allow only 2 moves and 2 subs
Or 4 moves and 0 subs

Remember you can't connect more than 4 controllers to the PS3 if your using your mic or 7 if your not.

To get 2 analogue alternatives (the sub and the move) you will need to spend at list $80 (not including the camera which would take it to $130 if its your first set of controllers)

You can't play any hardcore games with just one Move.

I was really excited about both Kinect and Move ever since they showed them at e3 last year. But after watching both conferences, i am no longer interested in any of them. They just did not show anything that would make me go out of my way to go and buy them.

I remember having to buy An extra Wiimote, 2 nunchucks and 2 Motion plus's and a gamepad.

It all mounted up in cost very fast.

Not sure if I want to do it all over again.

E3 sold me on the move and a ton of games for it. I'll for sure be playing socom 4 and killzone 3 with the move. Plus definitely getting that sorcery game.

Yes its true that you have to pay for extra controllers...
But people have no problem buying extra controllers for Nintendo's Wii...

It seems like Sony has some pretty good games for the Move...
I don't think anyone wants to miss the action, so selling the controllers shouldn't be a problem for Sony ^.^

For Move is nice but if I get Move ill need the sub controller for sure to play Socom etc.... which bumps it to 80 dollars. Ill wait until its around 65 total package to get them.

Well they say $49.99 but thats not really true.
For instance, you would often need the "navigation controller" (the bit with an analogue stick on...!) so thats another $29.99.
Then a Playstation Eye if you don't have one (which i dont) for a further $39.99

So right away we're up to close enough $120

$49.99 is rather misleading as the figure they splash about IMHO.

80 bucks is not bad at all for new tech. They still sell Wii Controllers 40 for the Wiimote and 20 for the nunchuck.

$50 + $30 for an entire controller. That's $320 to get up to 4 people to play. Then, the camera ($20) + a game ($60) for another $80 for a whopping total of $400.

Buying the bundle comes with a game, camera, and a wand for $100. This means you must purchase 4 sub-controllers and 3 wands for a total of $370 dollars, which saves you $30.

If you're buying it for yourself, you can spend $100 on the bundle, then another $30 on a sub-controller, for a total of $130. If you buy it separately, it will cost you $80 for the controller, $60 for the game, and $20 for the camera for $160.

4 people separate = $400
4 people bundle = $370

1 person separate = $160
1 person bundle = $130

Either way, it's quite a lot of money, and the whole $49.99 price-tag is misleading.

One thing you forget to mention is that the move is designed for all types of games. Say for example you want to get 4 friends over for some Socom or something.....You could use a combination of Move controllers and Dual Shocks.
With Natal there are no options like that. Natal is a one trick pony. Move is designed to be organic. Don't over look that difference.

You can't have 8 controllers on the PS3 at once. 4 is the max with the PS Eye. So you math is wrong. $310 is the most you will need to spend to have any experience with the Move. $40 more for a game.

I totally agree. I was a little annoyed by that. But hey it could be worse. Look at Nintendo making the Wiimote and the nunchuck separate in stores. That is even worse when you consider how little the nunchuck adds in comparison to the basic functions of the wiimote.

Don't forget that Kinect is just for an ocasional gaming session with friends and family once in a while.
But with Move you can play many ocasional games but still can play your favorite hardcore games in a different way for a change if you so desire :)

I loved playing Metroid Prime 3 and Zelda on my Wii with a Wii remore, was kind a really good experience.
Now I can imagine the more uberer precision playing Socom 4, KZ3 etc with Move : )

Most of you so called core gamers will probably use move once or twice to play games like KZ3 or Socom, then you're revert right back to what you fell comfortable with and that is the dual shock.

Unless the incorporate a 180 turn button into Move, you will get tired of people coming up from behind you as you slowly turn around with the aiming system currently used on Move.

Then guess what, as with the wii you'll be using move for the casual games the are released for the PS3. Before you get all pissed off, and hit disagree, give it some thought (1,2,3,4,5) okay, now you can go ahead and hit disagree since you're gonna do it anyway.

Good point. but as a Move supporter I have to agree that it could get pricey depending on your situation. If you have the PSEye you only have to pay $80.00 (with nav control) . If you don't then that is $110.00. If you have the PSEye and you want 2 players, that's $160.00. If not that's $190.00. If you buy the bundle that's $130.00(with nav control). Bundle plus extra controller, $180.00. So in short,if you are single player, it's fine. Two player seems to depend on what game your playing as well. In the game show and reality show games you seem to be able to pass the controller back and forth so one will do. But if you want to play volleyball for example with a friend you will need two. Then there is the fact that none of the games seem to require 4 players at the same time and then there is the chance of online play. Hmmmm..... Have to rethink this whole Move business.
