Even if you choose to ignore the multiplayer and most of the optional activities and side missions, there's a good 20-plus hours of fun to be had with these episodes. The stories are compelling, the memorable characters are too numerous to mention, and the gameplay is still top-notch. It's unfortunate that PC owners have had to wait so long to get their hands on this content, and even more unfortunate that the episodes don't perform any better on the PC than GTAIV did, but that's certainly no reason for you not to enjoy them.
GTA 4: Complete Edition is not a remaster, but it does do some pretty cool things for PC gamers including finally removing Games for Windows Live.

It isn't actually a compelling reason to buy them or play them either is it ? I bought GTA 4 and was shocked at how poorly optimised the game was. I held off ordering the DLC because I had a pretty good idea it would be the same with them.
What Rockstar have done to the PC version of this franchise is despicable. If they expect to make any decent sales for the next GTA on the PC they better pick up their game and actually earn their money. I know I won't be so fooled by them in the future.
Really unoptimised mess,..
Still great game though,.. but damn framerate is all over the place ,.. so inconsistent..
Did anyone else hate dricing in GTA4? It was so not fun...
hm weird, I actually find it more optimised.
