BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger Review (Baxy-Z)

A portion of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger review...

"BlazBlue is certainly a fantastic fighting game, by any standards. The story is deep and involving, which is a nice change to the boring and typical story modes normally found. Graphically, the game is unmatched and you really do find that the game is incredibly fun with friends. On the other hand the online is good, but not great. It's lag free, which is always a plus for a game which needs a flawless online, but can feel slightly clunky. Otherwise, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is an absolute blast both alone and with friends."

Jumping into the BlazBlue series is daunting at this point

"Getting into a long-standing fighting game series is always a challenge for new players. There are so many characters and different versions to go over for many of them and going up against seasoned players who’ve been with the series for years is one of the biggest barriers. BlazBlue, however, has something a lot of other games don’t have; a ton of story. The series is known for having a lot of story content, which can make that initial barrier even harder for new players because if they jump into a new game and play the story mode, they aren’t going to be able to follow it." -- PlayStation Enthusiast
