High Voltage Software's Josh Olson and David Pellas have admitted that although The Conduit offered Wii gamers quite a fun experience, the game's simple and pedestrian level design lead to a somewhat repetitive experience something the pair are confident will be addressed with the sequel.
There’s a consensus about Splatoon 1 that cannot be disputed: motion controls are the way to play. The Wii U Gamepad had its many problems on the system as a whole, but along with the way in which the touch screen was implemented in the first game like I mentioned in my last piece, using the Gamepad’s gyroscope was deemed a superior way to play compared to traditional joystick control.
Rustyshell.com: The Conduit strived to be the quality FPS experience Wii owners were missing out on, with quality graphics and a robust online multiplayer component.

When the admit it, thats means they'll fix it
It's good that they're trying to really improve the sequel, now they have to follow this: http://www.gamebrit.com/art...
Let's hope for a better game because honestly the first one didn't really pull me in as much as it should. For a game that was all about conspiracy and plot, I didn't see anything with espionage, just a bunch of Point A to Point B. Varied gameplay will be a welcome addition. And a sniper rifle.
