Nintendo Life writes: "It took forever (well, nearly) for Treasure's seminal N64 game Sin and Punishment to see a Western release, but thankfully the sequel isn't due to take anywhere near as long to find its way to your Wii disc tray, with a European release date of 7th May. When Nintendo offered us the chance to play it with the Wii Zapper on a huge projection screen with booming, bassy surround sound it would have been rude to say no."
Samuel Evans: "The Wii had an interesting year releasing most entries in Nintendo's key game lineups. The question is did it payoff on their own system or did third party rule the day?"
Still think that Super Mario Galaxy 2 is overrated. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't the ultimate 10 out of 10 game everyone scored it as. And number 1? Really?
Nerds on the Rocks takes a look at June 2010, not the most eventful month for game releases, but some solid titles do see the light of day.
yea, portable game of the year for sure!, as for console... probably Mass Effect 2.. my(underrated GOTY) probably Metro 2033 or Singularity..
Game-Boyz writes: "Since the early 90's, Treasure has been making some of the most intense action games around, from the moment they first wowed us with Gunstar Heroes on the SEGA Genesis. Silhouette Mirage, Bangai-O, Ikaruga — these guys know how to deliver hardcore thrills. Now they've brought their signature run and gun gameplay to the Wii with Sin & Punishment: Star Successor. A sequel to a cult Nintendo 64 game that was only released in Japan called Sin & Punishment (now available on the Virtual Console), this is a strange choice for Nintendo to publish. Most Treasure and shooter fans alike will be glad the company did though because this could be one of the best Wii games this year."
Grr...there's just too many good titles out there. I'll have to pass on S&P2 for a first-day purchase because M:OM releases soon after it.
But I can't wait to play S&P2; it looks like some ridonkulous fun.
