The bottom line is this - Raiden IV is a great game. Any shmup fan needs to pick this up. And at $40 it's not going to put much of a dent in your wallet. While Raiden IV does depart from the classical Raiden formula, it is indeed worthy of the Raiden moniker. 9/10
