How much does it cost to skip half of it?

MrNinosan31d ago

Nothing, you can skip 90% of the map by just following the main quest, all without any need of microtransactions.

The MTX are stupid. But the press they got completely warped the reality of what is there. I don't think they should be there at all, but if people want to hate on them, then hate on them for the right reason.

SimpleSlave31d ago

Exactly. Only nerds and dweebs pay money to do side quests...lol. Real gamers with the rizz pay money for the main quest only, and if at any point the game ask us to backtrack we just turn it off and go play something else.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is for the real Alpha Top Gs out there. If you wanna be a Beta Bottom G go play Elden Ring or some other casual shet.

Pay $70 to skip almost the entire game and then buy some micros to skip the rest?

VincentVanBro31d ago

I’ve been very impressed with the game so far and haven’t felt the need to spend any $ although I’d prefer mtx to be completely removed.

Doesn't sound that big. Skyrim was very small so this being double the size is ok but still relatively small. The 30fps in the game on console is horrible. Really hope they do something there.

Skyrim felt massive tbh with only being on horseback. If DD2 is the same that'd a buv map, especially is fast travel is limited

smolinsk30d ago

You could walk around in Skyrim and it didn't feel Big. I always Walk around in all Big map Games no matter what. No fast travel or nothing.

The npc pop in from the ps2 era is keeping me from getting it.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a great game, but only if you take your time

Alex writes: "I have a habit of trying to rush through games, so Dragon's Dogma 2 was a nice reminder that taking it slow isn't the end of the world."

Review - Dragon's Dogma 2 (Xbox Series X) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Jordan Hawes: "Dragon’s Dogma 2 is exactly what I wanted; an updated sequel that still hold true to what made the first game so beloved. While it may not be perfect with its lack luster visuals and performance, it more than makes up for in deep gameplay and addicting exploration. The Pawn system still remains one of the coolest party systems in an RPG, and I love the dynamic feel of them. This is absolutely a game of the year contender and may be my personal game of the year already."
