Playstation writes: "With each PlayStation 5 system software release, we’ve introduced new features designed to enhance the many ways you can access your favorite content, navigate your console, or create new gaming memories with friends. Today, we’re thrilled to roll out a new PS5 system software beta that introduces new accessibility features as well as audio options that allow 3D Audio powered by Tempest 3D AudioTech to be enjoyed on compatible Dolby Atmos-enabled HDMI devices such as sound bars, TVs, or home theater systems. The beta also includes more options to quickly find games and console tips, new ways to connect with other players and customize your multiplayer sessions, and support for larger-capacity M.2 SSDs (up to 8TB)."
Our first look at Battlefield 6's factions will assuage fears for now, as there are no goofy-looking specialists that will ruin the experience.

“Mute PS5 beep sound.”
“3D Audio powered by Tempest 3D AudioTech can now be enjoyed by those who own compatible Dolby Atmos-enabled HDMI devices such as soundbars, TVs or home theater systems.”
“Search for games in your library. You can now search for games within your game library.“
“You can now use an M.2 SSD with a maximum capacity of 8TB (up from the previous 4TB limit) to expand storage space on your PS5 console.“
Some great features in this update. The system been mute will be a game changer! And finally having 3D audio for Dolby Atmos devices is great to hear. Also having ability to use over 4TB SSD is nice for those who can afford it.
8 TB - enough space for the next Call of Duty!
Awesome at the 8tb I'll start saving now for one. I'm glad they had this update or I might have bought a 4tb only for the 8tb to be available I was already thinking of upgrading my 2tb to begin with.
Any recommendations for 8tb M.2 SSD?
The thing I’m interested in is the Dolby Atmos support. I don't really understand it though as surely it’s processed at the soundbar/home theatre system end.
I have the Samsung Q990B and like any AV system the signal is processed onboard. This just make the original output source data clearer?
Had the update but haven’t had the time to try it yet.
