Bandai Namco have confirmed that they're working on Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4, but is there another room for it in the franchise?
Daman Shelley from NoobFeed writes - 2023 brought us plenty of fighting game gems, from Street Fighter 6 to Mortal Kombat 1, but fighting game aficionados are in for a treat as 2024 has some exciting fighting game releases on the horizon. Here's a list of some of our top picks, in no particular order.
The past games have set very high expectations for this sequel, and a fun experience that captures the essence of the anime is what we’re looking forward to.
This took me back. After all those years.... there's finally a new Budokai Tenkaichi coming out. Wow.
During the DBFZ World Champion tournament today, Bandai announced that a New Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi Game was finally in development.
Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is still my favorite DBZ game. Its roster is still unmatched to this day in DBZ fighting games. This is great news. I never thought this series would return.
Yessss. It doesn't say anything about being next gen only. Hopefully.
This better not be another arena fighter, or worse, some kind of live service game.
Just give the old school Budokai fans what they want.
Yes we do
I would like the freedom of dbz kakarot open world with improved combat mechanics and world building quests. Don't really care for traditional 2d although fighterz did a great job but I couldn't get into it.
Tbh I just never understand why they can't make a game based on OG Dragon Ball. The characters and narrative would lend themselves well to the video game format, I think. An RPG with kid Goku seems like it would be a slam dunk. Plus, as much as I love DBZ, how many damn times do we have to relive the Frieza/Cell/Buu sagas?
I'm a huge fan of dbz so I can't wait. Would really like xenoverse 3 with these type of graphics.
