Usually, remakes outclass their predecessors in every way. Some games are just too good to fade into the shadow of a remake though; here's a short list of the best.

They should update Rift Apart on PS5 it is broken we cannot finish it lost all weapons and even the ratchet...
I wish we got dlc for Ratchet and Clank Rift apart. I want more content for that masterpiece of a game.

Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.
Missing Resident Evil 2 and 3. Arguably Resident Evil 1 as well.
Oddworld Abe’s Oddysee is 1000% better than New and Tasty and Abe’s Exoddus is about 100,000% better than that abysmal SoulStorm.
