Im really excited for this one. It seems very different from what Im used to.

Now that they've shown the game in a more in-depth manner ... I'll say ... I kinda like it.
But one nitpick is that ... the audio feedback needs to improve. When performing the actions, it felt like in many places, there's little to no satisfactory auditory feedback for every hand moves & attacks. Hope the retail version will improve on that ...

And ... the enemy looks intimidating but doesn't feels/plays much intimidating, at least in the extended gameplay part they showed ... if that makes sense

I really hope this ends up being good because DAMN this game looks like something truly new, and unique. We definitely need developers being bold like this. Personally i think it looks fantastic, besides some older looking graphics. If it plays well i think I’ll really enjoy it.

The first gameplay trailer left me all kinds of disappointed so this showcase has a long way to go to win me over. I'll watch it to see though

Let's see how is the new build of the game

Only from the mind of Killer 7 producer, day One!S

This looks trash. Gameplay is super stiff. Maybe it will be a surprise but going off of this video I'll pass.

So I guess you're not used to seeing other people play. Yes...many people play games like they have a stiff neck problem in-game.

GamingSinceForever850d ago

Or the game can just have stiff animations. Let’s not pretend that they don’t exist.

Like I said it may turn out to be a surprise but this showing didn’t impress me.

CrimsonWing69850d ago

Super stiff? Did we watch the same trailer?

Tacoboto850d ago

I think I understand a bit of where you're coming from. The animation of your character screaming after the spirit flies back into him is very very bad by itself, but the enemies move with this odd pacing.

It's like the enemies know your direction, but aren't moving *at* you, just the direction you're in. Hard to describe but they lack the subtle nuanced transitions we've seen in TLOU2 and other AAA modern releases.

The first person hand animations though are smooth as butter.

Pretty decent game, enjoyed it quite a bit. They really should have scaled it down a bit though, a bit too much open world padding for my liking.

But a sequel would be quite interesting if they get the balance right

This is old, sorry. Says "3H AGO" but it was available yesterday. Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition is now available for free, for another 13 hours or so then it changes.

Decent game for what it is. I quite enjoyed my playthrough.
