A lot of people gave F13 crap but for true series fans, the attention to detail and all the nods were fantastic - especially for a small team on a crowd funded game. Being a horror buff - keen to see more of this before I make any more judgements, but TCM seems more limiting to me as a game so I do wonder what approach they will take.

Servers were atrocious, gameplay was buggy as hell, balance was all over the place… but it was fun indeed.

Yeah it did get better with time though. Looks like the new Evil Dead will be the ideal version of this kind of game though.

I definitely enjoyed it , all it needed was some quality updates and it could of been very good

Friday The 13th The Game was the first video game that gave money to a Kickstarter for. I loved that game. And it hurt when the lawsuit came down causing them to have to stop making content for it. I say all that to say "My love for Asymmetrical Multiplayer Horror video games makes it a must that I support this game" This definitely a day one purchase for me.

Another one, really. Is this all they can think of to do with horror movie titles? Ridiculous.

Shacknews reports that Black Tower Studios is already well underway in the onboarding process for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The studio has a history of co-development with Gun Interactive, having previously worked on Friday the 13th: The Game. While it may not be the absolute best asymmetrical multiplayer game, the fact that it maintains a steady player base for nearly a third of a year is impressive.
