Man I'm happy to see it getting great scores.
I'll be playing this tonight for sure

RaidenBlack1368d ago

10 from both Gamespot and IGN?
Can it be?
Ow .... it happened all right.

alb18991368d ago

It seems that is an incredible game.
Now I'm thinking if I wait till Gamepass or buy it for my PS5

PowerPlayaaa1368d ago

If you can wait a whole year for it. Cuddos to you my man. But for me. ps5. And the Dualsense support on top of that, win win

babadivad1368d ago

@PowerPlayaaa

Dualsense has made me less accurate. Well, the adaptive triggers have. I bought Control on XSX and was waiting for the next-gen upgrade before playing it.

Then Control released on PS+. I was playing back and forth(to see if there's any differences) , while it's a cool feature, I was missing way to many shots. I just finished the game on Xbox.

Sunny_D1367d ago

@babadivad

Lol, you do know you can turn off the adaptive triggers on the dualsense right? It's a system level feature. In fact, you can pick different levels of how strong you want the trigger effects to be from low all the way to strong.

babadivad1366d ago (Edited 1366d ago )

@Sunny D

Thanks, I didn't even know that. I do think it's a very cool feature that will work well for driving games or the bow in Horizon. It just didn't work for me on shooters.

Don't know why I never looked up if you could turn it off. I Guess option of completing the game on the XSX made me never bother looking into it since the easy solution was sitting right next to my PS5.

Anyway, thanks again for the tip.

Magog1368d ago

Another stylish game for PS5. I don't think any console has had so many top tier games in its first year.

MadLad1368d ago (Edited 1368d ago )

It's also on PC.
MS really knows how to pick its talent.

@mag

Just pointing out there's an entire other platform that should get representation. I'm glad the game is getting great reviews, and Playstation gamers get to enjoy it.
If it sells well, Xbox and PC players will probably get a great sequel as well. Though I'd also like to see another Prey release, honestly.

Magog1368d ago

Is that a console? How is your comment in any way relevant to what I said?

CaptainHenry9161368d ago (Edited 1368d ago )

You must be really disappointed that it's not on Xbox yet or maybe you want it to be an Xbox exclusive right now. Just play it on PC if that helps. I can definitely read between the lines in this comment and you definitely made it obvious and you didn't even hold back. Now that's comical 😀 😅

solideagle1368d ago

hahaha :D thanks for the laugh

GameZenith1368d ago

Its also on PC. No it isnt a console but still you do not NEED a PS5/PS4 to play this game. It is not a 100% PS exclusive in the same way Rachet and Clank and Returnal are.

If it keeps getting 10's, this will be the sleeper hit of the generation. No one saw this coming.

Yui_Suzumiya1368d ago

Oh I did.. It's one of the few games this year that looked interesting to me. Resident Evil Village, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, Life is Strange: True Colors, Crysis Remastered Trilogy, Tormented Souls and Mass Effect Legendary Collection were the others.

Epicor1367d ago

This has been at the top of my list when it comes to upcoming PS5 titles since the very first announcement trailer. But I agree that I'm absolutely in the minority. I had my doubts sure, but the promise was there with amazing art style, great game idea and fun looking gameplay.

anast1368d ago (Edited 1368d ago )

Bethesda is good at making FPS games. They make fantasy, historical fantasy and sci-fi fantasy FPS games. This is their staple good to see they nailed it.

anast1367d ago

You are right poor choice of words. They are good at making and investing in FPS games.

JEECE1367d ago (Edited 1367d ago )

I don't get why people are pretending to not understand that you are talking about all of the Bethesda Studios (i.e. Arkane, id, Machinegames). If I said that Sony is good at making third person action games, everyone would understand that I was including Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Sucker Punch, Sony Santa Monica etc.

anast1367d ago

I don't get why this can't be compliment? Bethesda is good at the FPS business.

Tedakin1367d ago (Edited 1367d ago )

People are doing some insane mental gymnastics not to associate this game with MS or Bethesda. Of course until today it was "Bugthesda trash". It's been hilarious to read today.

Bruh1367d ago

Apparently Arkane is loyal to Sony even though its owned by Microsoft lmfao

Sayai jin1367d ago

They are acting like that, because Bethesda to them now means MS/Xbox.

Sunny_D1367d ago

Because the parent company would be Zenimax, not Bethesda.

Yui_Suzumiya1367d ago

Okay, I get what he means now. All the incredible FPS studios under Bethesda's belt. id Software being the macdaddy of them all of course. I wonder if the studios under Bethesda were given the option to go independent at the time of the MS buy out.

FPS is bread and butter for Bethesda, is not rocket science.
