you know, i think sony is really dumb. why havent they released the ps2-wiimote version. rebrand it to be called the new ps2 experience or something and add a ps2mote in the box. a ps2+wiimote= wii but for cheaper and a ton of games. they would completely dominate the market.

well the ps2 is basically dead. just rebrand the console and put it in a new box with ps2mote all ps2mote games will be rebranded also. and itll be backwards compatible and forwards compatible. a regular ps2 with wiimote can play the newer games. right? instead of just killing the ps2 they could reinvent it to be the casual gaming experience.ps2 for casual, ps3 for hardcore theres no real competition between them.

was just collecting dust so i put it back in its box. 2 months later I realized that I had no reason to ever take it back out. Sold it for a quick $250 Bought LBP, Resistance, Dead Space, Rented Uncharted, and spent the rest on Rockstars. Way better than a hunk of white plastic sitting next to my stereo.

Let me get this straight. You had a Wii long enough for it to collect a pile of dust on it (I'm not sure where you got that line by the way), you sold it for what you paid for it. You bought a bunch of games that any super duper hardcore gamer would drool over and you're still crying about the Wii? They for some dumb reason think Wii wll kill off Hardcore. Heck if PS2 couldn't do it,(and they seemed to be tryin' their darnest. Katamari? Eyetoy? singstar?) Then Wii can't cause in case they haven't noticed. 3rd parties are taking Wii more serious these days. A lot less minigame collections Next year.
