Silly Mammo1044d ago

If it's grounded in reality, you just go in your suit.

solideagle1044d ago

if there games were so buggy on fantasy level, I wonder how many bugs will be on reality level. how much detail are they going for...interesting to see gameplay. I think it will be more like Fallout in space

BoneMagnus1044d ago

Watching the trailer I wondered if they went too realistic and not sci-fi enough. We don’t know about aliens - whether intelligent or creatures that live on other worlds.

Just my initial impression. - Looking forward to seeing more.

I'm feeling that Starfield will be a very deep rpg, and scientifically accurate (as a fan of astrophysics I love this), but I'm hoping they remember games are supposed to be fun and engaging. I'm really hoping this isn't a game where it becomes a chore just to achieve basic things, where everything is a time consuming massive effort, whether that means refueling your ship or grinding resources to get off planet.

oldenjon1044d ago (Edited 1044d ago )

I hope it's not too real. Space travel is pretty boring by our current definition of reality tbh. Multiple galaxies, alien races, supernatural elements please.

sourOG1044d ago (Edited 1044d ago )

I agree. I’m playing outer worlds now and it’s just not that interesting. If it were more of a realistic take I couldn’t imagine the boredom.

I doubt it would be an RPG without alien races and stuff.

'Todd Howard says Starfield is a game...'
One would certainly hope so lol.

Embracer CEO demonstrates a masterclass in mental gymnastics in latest interview.

Turned based Phantasy Star and Shinning Force remain at the top of my list of Sega IPs that need to return. At the very least I'd take a Shining Force collection that has 1,2,3, CD and the Game Gear entries.

FinalBoss5d ago

I was hesitant to put these two on. I've personally played more PSO than the RPG version. And shame on me, I don't remember much about Shining Force to talk about it properly.

That said, so many Sega licences deserve their place in this list.

jznrpg3d ago

A new Phantasy Star in the numbered series would be amazing. Shining Force too. But I’d settle on some collections as that’s probably the best we will get

anast5d ago

I don't trust Sega to do a proper comeback. The games will be just remastered and/or monetized to death.

shining force.

but indont see that happening unfortunately.
