Each entry in The Legend of Zelda franchise is a shining example of how all the different elements in a game can work in unison to create a unforgettable experience: from in-depth world-building to thrilling combat mechanics and smart, but ultimately fun, game design. These games put the player directly in the shoes of a capable hero and gives them the courage, wisdom, and power to truly feel like one.
Brilliant franchise. And the sense of accomplishment is what makes The Legend Of Zelda so apealing to me. The first Zelda I beat was Ocarina and I damn near cried. I truly felt heroic.
Not just for the best Zelda but also the best Metroid experience.

The best metal gear experience is the PS3. Really.
Or a moderately recent PC, CEMU is amazing. Even a 1050 can emulate the games at a higher res than the Wii U :)
