This would be running on a 3080 or even a 3090 so 30+ TF vs 4.2TF isn’t a bad try from the PS4 version I am just hoping 1440p 30fps medium settings on the pro and will get the ps5 version when I can get a ps5 sometime next next gen by the looks of it

Not to mention that to get one you will need to pay the equivalent of $70k in Europe for a used Ford Focus! Making the Porsche at three times the price look cheap!

You can certainly tell the massive difference in skin tones/detail on clothing texture and the less plastic-y look. Really interested to see what the next gen versions look like on console compared to PC. We all knew what to expect when putting up the PS4 Pro compared to a PC.

I own a gaming pc but these comparisons are never fair. They don't even say what specs the pc footage is. Is it recommended pc specs? Or is it the most expensive pc they can find?

I think its best to assume that they are running this in God Mode on PC with a 3000 series card. Still very impressive how it scales, and can debunk any arguments that PC has been held back because of old console hardware.

i have no idea if it was held back or not. you would have to get an honest answer from a developer to know things like that for certain. I really don't care either because the game is what it is and there's no way me complaining on the internet would have changed their development pipeline.

I own a 2070 super and seeing the gameplay I'm like: This looks great for pc but am I really going to get that level of graphics if my card is a tier lower than a 3000 series they used in the trailer (assuming they used a 3000 series at all). I just find it weird that for console owners they know what they're getting for the most part but for pc owners they only show one set of footage for their most beefy pc and don't do a series of different builds so you can get an idea of what it may look like. This situation where they show the best only does literally nothing for the average pc gamer and only the people who constantly own the most cutting edge cards know what they're getting into.

Impressive what the PS4 pro/one x generation have been able manage with this game. Obviously the PC looks better but there’s nothing wrong with the look on the console versions. Just hope they run stable.

NO DOUBT the P.C. version is ENORMOUSLY cleaner looking and more refined. However... **if we are considering the overwhelmingly ridiculous power difference** between the PS4 and something like a 3080, in this context, the visual gap here is EMBARSSINGLY/HUMILIATINGLY far from what the power difference would suggest. If the average Joe walked into the room with one of those screens open, left, came back and the other version's image of the same screen was open, there is a good chance it would go completely unnoticed (assuming it was one of the scenes that didn't feature different style choices like the metal grate under the car for P.C. etc.). Side by side is very obvious, but the power difference is such that NO ONE should be able to see the two even separately and not almost think they are different games. While I am still happy to play what is, visually, the best version, I would *really* like my P.C. hardware to be utilized in a way that actually shows **just how much more powerful** it is. Unfortunately I have YET to see this ever happen beyond being able to run much higher frame rates (or 4K vs. barely 1080p *in the past*). Truthfully, I don't see it ever happening unless a game is designed for P.C. only (like Star Citizen - but even that has not really delivered what I originally hoped - but then maybe it will if we just give it 8 more years ;-) ). Ray tracing will be able to allow us to flex the P.C. muscles and (for gamers) can suggest power superiority in some cases, but in play, most people (non-gamers) would likely not even make much fuss over the differences between it and decent rasterization/screen space reflections etc. DLSS has the potential to REALLY make the gap apparent, but the assets are STILL going to be the same between platforms so the differences will still likely *mostly* be frame rate options and ray tracing. I like the way we are going, but outside of our own circles, the differences are becoming more and more underwhelming. Admittedly (and obviously), this irks me a little where my P.C. is concerned (heavily boosting fps doesn't actually impress me all that much for most of the game types I prefer). G-Sync is EXTREMELY nice, but with VRR moving to televisions now, even that is narrowing the gap. I suppose that all of this is a good thing overall because it indicates that even a few years ago we reached a pretty high standard. Bright side I suppose. #GiveThanks...

Believe it or not, higher FPS and resolution is important.
As for the assets, I saw a large difference there too.

I like my framerate, but it is not as if we are talking about differences that make something pleasant vs. unpleasant to play comparatively for most people. And again, the types of games I prefer (personally) have little benefit from high FPS (esp. if I can run motion smoothing on my display to clean things up further OR ESPECIALLY VRR). This is even more the case with resolution. As I explained (and attempted to emphasize) there are certainly differences in the assets. But:
1) The average person would likely not notice anything groundbreaking (if anything at all) if they were not trying to make a comparison and were not side by side
2) *And more the point I was making* the power differences are so vast that there should not even be much that makes them remotely comparable. Yet, the two versions are much more comparable than I believe they should be - if we were to not put them side by side and show them to the average Joe without asking him to watch for differences.
Again, I have loved my P.C.s since about 1986 (Commodore 64 passion before that). Unfortunately, I cannot convince myself anymore that multi-platform software is leveraging my hardware in a way that accurately demonstrates just how superior it is. Terribly disappointing. It is like buying a Koenigsegg (PC) but only being able to drive it on public roads with speed cameras around. I can get up to speed quicker, but ultimately I'm not getting there much faster than the guy in the BMW (PS5/XSX). The analogy is especially flawed in one area though -- my P.C. can do a lot more (well rounded) than a console. But then, the console experience requires less "tuning"/bother/nuis ance and is more polished where the basic user experience is concerned so a softer/smoother/in many ways better ride but without the bragging rights... Ah, shouldn't overthink analogies. I like my P.C. - I just feel like it's power delta is increasingly unimpressive as diminishing returns become more and more of a reality.

Sorry it is upsetting that your (and my P.C.) objectively produce visuals that average folks don't see as all that much (if any -unless side by side-) different when compared to old and much weaker consoles. It is sad, but no matter how much you disagree, it is already true and only becoming more the case. I say it because I'm a little annoyed at the reality and kind of hate that when I am honest with myself (other than jacking up my frame-rate), my P.C. is quickly becoming even less impressive to me - and I have run "high end" P.C.s since before the days that going into egghead software and saying you had a Pentium 90 made the employees' jaws drop.

It will always be like this in order (for all games) PC, PS5/Series X (both will be close so can't put one over the other right now) PS4 Pro/One X (again need to compare both to see)

Sure wish the optimized for ps5/series x cyberpunk version was going to be ready at launch or soon thereafter. As it stands, I will be waiting to play that version, and avoid spoilers until then. My backlog is heavy, so I can wait, and I avoided spoilers for many major titles I didn't play at launch so I'm good........I think.

Comparing a 4/5 year old console to a 2020 top notch PC is not very fair and could be deceiving, because it depends on your PC build, compare it to a PC build within the price range of this console and i'm sure it won't look like this. But it is a fact that almost (You know... optimizations) all games always look better on a top notch PC than on consoles.
