Stela, wearing its inspirations on its sleeve, comes close to mediocrity. With Prince of Persia-inspired platforming, Limbo-esque enemy encounters, and an apocalyptic world in need of saving, the game feels like a rote composite at the start
Stela is a beautiful cinematic platformer that's ambiguous on details but absolutely bursting with mood, style, and fiendish puzzles.
KellysKranium from TGA says "If I ask you to think of a game that you play laterally, and which uses silhouettes and 2.5D graphics, then you would probably think of a game like Limbo or Inside. If you are a fan of those games, then you may enjoy Stela."
