Nine Dots Publishing and developer Nine Dots Studio have announced open-world action RPG sequel Outward 2 for unspecified consoles and PC (Steam). A release date was not announced.

Nothing is changed in the storyline - you're still hardlocked to the faction you pick til end game
Really enjoyed Pathfinder. Probably the most distracting character generation I've ever done as far as options and potential goes. I think I rerolled 30 times before I ever finished Chapter I.
Outward is such a unique gem, i hope it's successful enough for them to make sequels and build on that formula
