Sega solely owns the Bayonetta IP. Nintendo just owns distribution rights for Bayo 2 & Bayo 3 since they helped fund the sequels
Yes but that goes for any new game not just Bayonetta, I honestly don’t think self publishing is the best choice for a company like Platinum since they’re all about fast paced high octane action games. Though I do see self publishing being good for remastering games that haven’t had the treatment already.
