Square Enix Released Two Great RPGs This Month That You Shouldn't Sleep On

Square Enix released Star Ocean First Departure R and SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions, which are both great RPG experiences that you should play.

Star Ocean remake was a great one. It feels a little bit dated due to it PSP graphics but its still a solid classic

Everyone's backlog is getting crazy, that's mainly the problem. Releasing on the holidays too (obviously) makes for less exposure of these RPG's.

My backlog has been slaughtered with the recent gaming deals. I think I'm plus 6 with an already large backlog...

That's cute if your backlog is just large. I have PS2 games in my backlog...physical PS2 games! I also haven't gotten around to having the laser on my PS2 replaced for some years now though, so that part of my backlog is stored away. I still intend on one day having it fixed though.

Same here on the ps2. Believe or not, but i actually found a physical copy of Legend of Dragoon for ps1. Luckily i have the bc ps3 and i will get around to it. Not trying to sound like a topper.

Tross... I have shrinkwrapped and opened but never played games stretching into the 90s no lie.... psx, DREAMCAST , 3ds, PC, it just got worse and worse with years between steam sales and bargain bin pickups. I feel your pain dude.

That said it's a nice problem... too many good games to play.

I keep hoping they'll ever do a proper re-release Chrono Trigger for current/next-gen, with Sonic Mania level-quality pixel-perfection.

Instead of re-releasing great classics like Chrono Trigger, they keep releasing relatively unknown games like this. I don’t know what’s going on in the minds of SE.

That said.... I mean it's such a good game already if all you want us pixels there are many good ways to play the original. It holds up beautifully...
